FanDuel Clinches Partnership with Carolina Panthers Ahead of Mobile Betting Launch

FanDuel has inked a multi-year agreement with the Carolina Panthers, becoming an Official Sports Betting Partner ahead of the eagerly anticipated launch of mobile sports betting in North Carolina on March 11.

This strategic partnership is set to captivate sports fans throughout the state, marking a significant expansion in FanDuel’s engagement with sports enthusiasts across North America. North Carolina will be the 22nd state in the United States where FanDuel offers its mobile sports betting services, solidifying its position as a leading online gaming company.

The partnership grants FanDuel access to Carolina Panthers team marks for use across various marketing platforms and enables collaboration on digital and social media content. Fans are set to benefit from digital signage and exclusive events hosted at the Bank of America Stadium, home to the Panthers.

One of the first initiatives under this partnership will be a special broadcast of FanDuel TV’s “Up & Adams,” hosted by Kay Adams, live from the Bank of America Stadium on March 6. The broadcast will feature appearances by Luke Kuechly, former NFL linebacker, and other members of the Panthers organization, offering fans a blend of entertainment and insightful content.

Mike Raffensperger, Chief Commercial Officer at FanDuel, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Bringing FanDuel to sports fans across North Carolina is an important moment for our business, and we are thrilled to be able to work with the Carolina Panthers to introduce their fanbase to America’s #1 Sportsbook.” He highlighted the significance of engaging with the passionate sports community in North Carolina and supporting the Panthers in the upcoming season.

In addition to pre-registering on the FanDuel Sportsbook app, sports fans in North Carolina aged 21 and above can look forward to special promotional offers. New customers who pre-register by March 10 will receive $100 in Bonus Bets following the launch. Moreover, a $200 Bonus Bet offer is on the table for customers making their first wager of at least $5 starting from 12 pm ET on March 11.

This partnership announcement comes on the heels of FanDuel’s acquisition of BeyondPlay, a B2B iGaming technology company, last month. This move is part of FanDuel’s strategy to enhance its iGaming product offerings and overall customer experience.
