Live! Casino Pittsburgh Launches New Dealer School Session

Live! Casino Pittsburgh is set to host another session of its highly acclaimed free Table Games Dealer School, following a surge of interest in its initial January offering. The school, aimed at nurturing the next generation of casino dealers, underscores the burgeoning appeal of a career in the fast-paced gaming industry. Starting March 4, the program is open to anyone eager to dive into this dynamic field, with classes conducted by seasoned, licensed instructors.

Located at the Westmoreland Mall, specifically on the lower concourse across from Old Navy, the Dealer School presents an immersive six-week training course running from March 4 through April 12.

Classes are scheduled Monday through Friday, offering flexibility with two available time slots each day: noon to 4 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. This initiative not only aims to equip participants with the essential skills required to operate in a casino environment but also provides a pathway to potentially secure employment at Live! Casino Pittsburgh.

Sean Sullivan, General Manager of Live! Casino Pittsburgh, expressed his enthusiasm for the program, stating, “Our initial class in January proved so popular that we decided to host another one right away. We love helping people who are interested in an exciting new career in the gaming industry.” This sentiment reflects a broader commitment to fostering talent and offering new opportunities within the local community.

Upon completion, attendees will have the opportunity to interview for open dealer positions at the casino, which currently includes full-time, part-time, and on-call casual roles. However, it’s important to note that finishing the school does not automatically guarantee employment, emphasizing the competitive nature of the industry.
